Product plugs, lol!

Sometimes I wish I was a beauty editor for Glamour magazine.  Imagine how much fun it would be to always get free beauty products to try, and then review them in the magazine.  That would combine my two loves, journalism and beauty products!

Anyway, you have got to try Crest Weekly Clean.  It comes in a little tube for about 4 bucks.  You get about 16 uses out of it too.  It makes your teeth squeaky clean like you have just been to the dentist.

Another new product I have tried and loved is Philosophy's Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash.  (Shhhh, don't tell my Mary Kay girls. :) ) This stuff is awesome!  Makes your face feel like a baby's behind.

Anyhoo, this blog entry is sponsored by Crest and Philosophy, lol!

I love Playlist!

I have another addiction.  Playlist.com is so much fun!  It is amazing that with the click of a mouse, you can find any song you ever dreamed of!  I love music, and this is a free and easy way to make an awesome playlist, and I do have an awesome one if I must say so myself.  Check it out!

Josh's luck, or lack thereof...

Josh is always running into trouble it seems.  Or stressful situations.  Today was no different.  He was out working (big shocker) off of 68-80 today when an older gentleman drove by and waved at him.  Well, about 20 minutes later Josh was driving down that same road when he came upon the stop sign.  That same truck he just had seen was just sitting there at the stop sign.  Josh waited a few minutes before finally getting out of his dump truck to see what the hold up was all about.  He came upon the truck with the older gentleman slumped over inside.  He tried to open the door but the man would have come tumbling out of the truck.  This poor man was unresponsive.  Josh called 911 and minutes later they arrived.  He didn't wait around to see if this man was going to be okay.  He felt he was in the way so he left the workers to do their job.  He didn't want to stand around and be a gawker.

I pray that they revived this man and he is doing much better now.  I think this scared Josh into taking better care of himself.  One minute you are here, the next you could be like this poor old man, slumped over in your car at a stop sign.  I wish there was a way to know if he made it.  I think I will choose to believe he is fine now.

Alright! I'm in the 21st century, y'all!

Welcome to my new blog!  I should have done this years ago.  Lately, I have been about 10 years behind on technology it seems.

My Baby Payton has grown up in the blink of an eye.  It is hard to believe she will be five next month.  It breaks my heart and makes me happy at the same time.  Wasn't it just yesterday that we were going through in-vitro fertilization to have her?  Seems like yesterday, or at least seems like last summer, when we had all those doctor's appointments in Nashville.

I started this blog to try and chronicle all of these special times with her.  There is so much I have forgotten from her infancy and toddler years.  :(  The memories come to me in flashes, and then they are gone again.  I want to do better now.  Yeah, five years too late it seems.

So stay tuned for lots of fun stuff and much randomness!  I promise to make it as entertaining as possible and not bore you with too many Payton stories.  LOL
